Receive care requests for household help and everyday support
You support people in the household or in everyday life – as a service under Section 45a SGB XI? Show which help your service covers and review matching requests from your area.
Your recognition status is checked in the intended procedure. We cannot promise how many requests will come in for your region.
Which requests can reach you
Requests may concern these service areas, for example:
It does not always have to be complete care: open housekeeping or supervision can be requested separately.
Which support does your service offer?
As an everyday and household help service you offer the service areas housekeeping and supervision in the portal. Choose in the example what your service covers.

Recognition, services and region
Once your proof has been checked, your entry shows the note “Section 45a recognition checked”.
Whether services can be billed depends on the recognition, the federal state and the statutory rules in force at the time.
How it works
Register and set up
Register your service in the portal free of charge, without an institution code. You set your service area and services yourself.
Prove your recognition
You provide proof of your recognition; we check it.
View requests
You decide yourself whether to express interest. There is no obligation to accept.
What does it cost?
The location subscription costs €99.00 plus VAT per location per month.
Before your first expression of interest you explicitly confirm the price and contract terms; you take out the subscription with the first confirmed expression of interest by your location. Cancellable at the end of the current contract month.
Registration and the directory entry are free of charge, and so is viewing matching requests.

Questions from everyday support providers
Do I need an institution code (IK)?
No. No IK is required for the access as an everyday and household help service under Section 45a SGB XI. Use the special registration for it; you provide proof of your recognition, and we check the proof.
Can every service be billed to the long-term care fund automatically?
No. That depends, among other things, on your recognition, the federal state and the statutory rules in force at the time. Pflege Patienten gives no assurance about billing.
Is taking part only meant for a future change in the law?
No. This page describes the access as it is today. Information on legislative plans is in the knowledge section, with its status date.
Additional note: draft PNOG (status 22 Oct 2026)
Under the draft Care Reorganisation Act (PNOG), a social space budget is to be usable from 2027 only for recognised everyday support services. The act has not been passed yet; the draft may still change. Whether and how this affects demand is open.
