Privacy requests (access, deletion, revocation)
Access request, deletion, revoking a consent and your own account.
Would you like to know which data about you is stored, have data deleted or revoke a consent? Here you read how you request this from the operator and what you do yourself in the portal.
What it is for
You exercise your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation – access, deletion and revocation – and know whom to contact with which matter.
Prerequisites and permissions
- For a request to the operator you only need an email address; an account is not necessary.
- If you have a portal account, give its email address so that we can assign your request.
- There is no self-service access report in the portal: you receive access to your data under Art. 15 GDPR on request from the operator, within the statutory deadlines.
Step by step: making a request
- Write an email to datenschutz@pflege-patienten.com.
- State what you would like: access, deletion or revocation of a consent.
- Give the email address of your portal account.
- Wait for the answer of the operator.
What you do yourself in the portal
- Deleting your own account: “Delete account” in the user menu.
- Revoking the consent for a published case: report it directly on the case: “Close case” → “Revoke consent / report revocation”. The referral then stops immediately.
- Data of an organisation: the data export under “Settings” → “Data export” is only available to the administrators of an organisation and contains the organisation’s data – it does not replace a personal access report.
- Contracts and privacy notice: under “Settings” → “Legal information”.
What happens next?
The operator answers your request within the statutory deadlines. If an organisation posted the case, it is responsible for this case data; please address questions about it to that organisation first. If such matters reach us, we pass them on.
Typical scenarios
- A relative wants to know what is stored: she writes to the address above; questions about a case posted by a hospital she first addresses to the hospital.
- A patient revokes the consent: the posting party reports the revocation on the case; the referral stops immediately.
Limits and common problems
- Which data are still kept for legal reasons after a deletion is stated under How long do we keep what?.
- If you do not agree with the answer, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
