For private individuals and relatives
For yourself or a relative. Afterwards you confirm your email address and add postcode, town and phone number. You can then post your own care needs or those of your relative right away – no waiting.
For organisations
For home care services, care providers, medical practices and advisory services. After confirming your email address you create the organisation and its first location. We first check the organisation and then release the location.
One location can do both
With one account, care services and providers take on matching requests – and post their own care needs free of charge if they can no longer provide care, or only in part.
Details for organisations
Each location chooses whether it seeks care, offers care or both. Home care services, care facilities and other providers that take on care enter the institution code (IK) of their organisation and complete the service profile before release: at least one type of care and one service area.
Providers of everyday support under Section 45a SGB XI need no IK; they provide proof of their recognition, and we check it. Medical practices and advisory services have no IK; they post care needs, and we check their details by hand.
Hospitals and their social services are activated separately; we do not promise immediate self-registration at present. We clarify the current status for your hospital in a presentation.
Checks and status in the provider directory
After registration we first check the organisation – by its IK or by hand – and then release the location.
In the provider directory every entry shows its status: “Researched entry” (from public sources, not yet confirmed by the facility), “Confirmed by the facility” or “Takes part in Pflege Patienten”. The note “Section 45a recognition checked” only appears once we have confirmed the recognition against a source. An entry does not prove free capacity.
For private individuals
You do not need your full name – a first name is enough, for example “Family M.”. We do not need street or house number. The portal deletes unconfirmed registrations after a set period.
Team and secure sign-in
Each person works with their own account; your organisation's administration invites further people and assigns their role. A second factor protects the sign-in – it is mandatory for hospitals, and organisations can require it for their team.
